Creating Tomorrow's World Through Today's Choices

At Goki America, we believe that responsibility to children means responsibility for their future. Every decision we make—from the wood we select to the partnerships we build—reflects our commitment to leaving the world better than we found it.

Our Environmental Promise: Growing Forests, One Tree at a Time

Since 2004, we've been on a mission that goes far beyond making toys. Under our motto "A tree for every newborn child," we've planted over 400,000 trees in Germany's most sparsely forested region, helping transform Schleswig-Holstein into a greener, more sustainable landscape for future generations.

Why Trees Matter:

- Climate Action: Each mature tree absorbs approximately 3.5 tons of CO2 over its 120-year lifespan
- Carbon Storage: When wood becomes toys instead of decomposing, that CO2 remains permanently captured
- Biodiversity: Our mixed-forest approach creates resilient ecosystems that support wildlife and withstand climate change
- Legacy: Trees planted today will benefit children not yet born

Education Changes Everything: Building Schools, Building Hope

While American families enjoy educational opportunities, 98 million children in Sub-Saharan Africa are currently out of school. We refuse to accept this reality.

Our School-Building Mission: Since we began this journey, we've partnered with respected organizations like terre des hommes and Children in Africa to build 11 schools in developing countries including Mali, Peru, Uganda, and Ghana, with our latest project currently under construction.

Why Education Matters:

- Breaking the Cycle: Education is the most powerful weapon against child labor—where 150 million children worldwide are currently trapped
- Economic Empowerment: Every year of primary school increases a child's future income by 10-15%
- Gender Equality: In regions where we build schools, girls' enrollment often doubles within five years
- Community Impact: Each school serves 300-500 children, creating ripple effects throughout entire communities

From Mines to Classrooms: Many of the children now attending our supported schools previously worked in dangerous conditions—mining, farming, or other labor. Today, they're learning to read, discovering mathematics, and dreaming of futures their parents never imagined possible.

Sustainable Craftsmanship: Respect for Every Resource

Sustainable Forestry Focus: We primarily source from sustainably managed European forests where trees stand for 80+ years before harvest—a full human lifetime of growth, ensuring we use wood responsibly and sustainably wherever it comes from.

Plastic-Free Future: We've set an ambitious goal that sets us apart in the toy industry: eliminating PVC, PU, ABS, and PS plastics from all our products, replacing them with environmentally friendly alternatives.

Carbon Positive in Europe: Our European production facilities now operate carbon positive—meaning these sites actually remove more CO2 from the atmosphere than they produce. This represents our ongoing commitment to environmental leadership in all regions where we operate.

Circular Design: We design for durability and recyclability, creating toys built to last generations, not seasons.
Join us in making childhood an adventure that also makes the world better. One toy, one tree, one school at a time.
