Tortoise

This tortoise has a beautifully detailed dome-shaped shell painted in warm amber-brown with a yellow grid pattern that suggests the natural sections of a tortoise shell. The head and legs are smooth natural wood in a soft cream, and the slow, deliberate low-to-the-ground posture gives the figure a calm, grounded feeling. It makes a great standalone piece and works well in garden or nature play settings. Handmade in Europe from solid maple wood and painted by hand with water-based colors, safe for little hands and ASTM-tested. Ideal for Waldorf and Montessori-inspired play. For kids ages 3 and up. Made in Europe.
