String Puppet - Dog Marionette

With floppy brown ears, a round white belly, and a friendly black nose, this little dog marionette looks ready to trot along on any adventure, tail wagging somewhere behind him. He hangs from a wooden crossbar on a set of strings, and guiding that bar makes his legs and head bob and sway together, turning a simple walk across the floor into a small performance worth watching. Painted with water-based colors, safe for little hands and ASTM-tested, he holds up well to the pulling and tugging that comes with learning the strings for the first time. Getting him to walk steadily instead of tangling into a heap takes real concentration, making this a playful, hands-on way to build patience, focus, and coordination between both hands at once. For kids ages 3 and up.
