Hammer bench - Goki Essential

A first workbench built entirely around the joy of hammering something and having it actually go somewhere. Five colorful wooden pegs sit ready in their holes, and a chunky wooden mallet is all it takes to knock each one straight through the bench, a satisfying thunk and a visible result every single time as the peg drops through to the surface below. Once all five have fallen, picking them back up and setting them in from the top starts the whole cycle over again, an easy loop that needs no resetting beyond a child's own hands. That immediate cause and effect, swing, thunk, peg drops, is exactly the kind of feedback loop that keeps toddlers coming back, while the swinging motion builds arm control, aim, and hand-eye coordination well before a child is ready for more complex tools. The rounded mallet and pegs are sized for small hands still learning their own strength. Sturdy construction holds up to plenty of enthusiastic pounding. A simple, satisfying classic for ages 2 and up.
