Colour and shape assorting board

Three wooden columns on one shared board, one for triangles, one for squares, and one for cylinders, each built from several pieces of the same shape in different heights and colors. A shallow recess in the board marks the starting spot for each column, but nothing forces a particular stacking order, so a child is free to build every column however they like, tallest piece on the bottom or on top, short ones sandwiched in the middle, and see how the look and balance changes each time. That openness makes it more of an open building exploration than a single-solution puzzle. Smooth, solid wooden pieces are sized well for little hands still building fine motor control and a steady grip. A colorful, open-ended introduction to shapes, height, and color for ages 1 and up.
