Hen, pecking

Caught mid-peck, this golden-yellow hen leans all the way forward with her head angled toward the ground. A bright red comb and wattle, warm brown wing markings, and orange feet round out the look. The dynamic pose gives her plenty of personality and makes her stand out in any barnyard scene. She fits right into any farm play set and pairs beautifully with the standing hen. Handmade in Europe from solid maple wood and painted by hand with water-based colors, safe for little hands and ASTM-tested. Ideal for Waldorf and Montessori-inspired play. For kids ages 3 and up.
