Color sortig game and Advent spiral, 34 pieces

A set of curved, rainbow-colored wooden pieces with a row of small indentations, paired with a felt bowl, a pair of wooden tweezers, and two dozen soft balls made from 100 percent fair trade wool in matching colors. The pieces don't have to form a spiral - children can just as easily lay them out as a winding snake or any other shape they like, then fill the indentations with balls by color. Younger children can sort by color and count the balls out by hand, while older children can practice fine motor control and concentration by picking up each ball with the tweezers. In December, the same set doubles as a simple, reusable advent countdown. The wooden pieces are handcrafted from maple, and the felt pieces are made by hand as well. Handcrafted in Europe. A natural fit for Montessori and Waldorf-inspired play.
