Lift out puzzle, on the farm

A farmer sits at the wheel of his tractor, surrounded by a cow, rooster, cat, hen with her chick, and pig, each one lifting out on its own oversized wooden knob against a sunny farmyard scene. The illustrated background carries the story along even before the pieces go back in place, from the picket fence to the little chick pecking nearby. A bright sun overhead and small painted details throughout the scene give families plenty to point at and talk about beyond the six removable pieces themselves. Big, easy-to-grab knobs make this a comfortable first puzzle for hands still working on their pincer grip. Crafted from sturdy wood and finished in bright, water-based colors, it's a cheerful introduction to farm life and its animals. For kids ages 1 and up.
