Sensory Game - Matching Pair

Sixteen wooden tiles each hide a different shape traced into the surface, from a flower and a star to a butterfly and a little house, waiting to be matched by feel rather than sight. A matching set of colorful shape pieces travels in its own drawstring bag, and children reach in, feel the outline of a piece with their fingers, and search out the tile with the same shape carved into it. Painted with water-based colors, safe for little hands and ASTM-tested, the tiles and pieces are simple enough for little hands to sort, mix up, and try again. The game grows with a child's skill: start with just a handful of tiles and pieces for beginners, then work up to the full set of sixteen once matching by touch alone feels easy. Matching purely by feel sharpens fine motor skills and tactile awareness in a way that looking alone never could. For kids ages 3 and up.
